New Delhi: HTC has recently launched a mini version of its flagship smartphone, HTC One Mini, in the Indian market. This new smartphone seems to be in line of competition with Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.

Here is a comparison between the ‘Mini’ versions of the flagship phones to make it easier for users to choose between the two. Both HTC One Mini and Galaxy S4 Mini sport a 4.3 inch display.
One Mini has a Super LCD2 screen which makes reading web pages on the smartphone easier, whereas the S4 Mini features a super AMOLED display with a lower resolution that makes reading web content on the phone strenuous. However, S4 Mini offers vibrant colours and wide viewing angles than One Mini.
When it comes to operating systems, both the smartphones seem to be sailing on the same boat. Both One Mini and Galaxy S4 Mini run on Android 4.2.2 which is topped with a layer of TouchWiz UI in S4 Mini and Sense UI in One Mini.
One Mini and S4 Mini use Snapdragon 400 chip featuring a dual-core processor. Though, S4 Mini is clocked at 1.7GHz whereas One Mini runs at clock speed up to 1.4GHz. The Galaxy S4 Mini comes with 1.5GB of RAM as opposed to 1GB RAM of the One Mini.
S4 Mini packs in an eight mega-pixel rear facing camera with auto-focus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and a 1.9 mega-pixel HD front facing camera. The smartphone can also capture 1080p video at 30 frames per second.
One Mini on the other hand features an UltraPixel rear camera with a 4 mega-pixel lens with BSI sensor and LED flash and a 1.6-megapixel front facing camera with 720p HD videos recording support. The UltraPixel camera sensor captures photos with fine detail and enhanced dynamic range, even in dim light conditions. Galaxy S4 Mini comes with 1900mAh battery which lasts for 13 hours and 10 minutes. Whereas One Mini hosts an 1800mAh battery which offers a talk time of around 12 hours.
